The Uniform System of Accounts was first published in 1926 by the Hotel Association of New York. The "Uniform System" has since become a recognised, standard format for the preparation and presentation of financial data for hotels. The newly released 10th edition provides up-to-date instructions for preparing accounts which can be adapted by hoteliers to suit their requirements, depending upon the size and structure of their operation.
BAHA worked in association with the Hotel Association of New York City and US based HFTP to review the impact of some of the changes in this 10th edition. To add your comments to the discussion forum - please click here.
