Hotel Marketing Association - Marketing Dineamics < back
Are hoteliers set up to achieve success with their F&B outlets when even the most recognisable restaurant names on the high street are beginning to take a tumble
Date: Wednesday 24th April 2019
Time: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Venue: The Langham, London
1c Portland Place, Regent Street, London W1B 1JA (Map)
It seems like every day brings news of profit warnings, site closures and job losses at some of Britain’s leading restaurant names. In the last year alone, big brand names including Jamie Oliver, Byron, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Giraffe, Wetherspoons and Patisserie Valerie amongst others have hogged the headlines for one reason or another, and many high streets have seen hard times fall upon the casual dining sector as a whole. New dynamic marketing partners, such as Deliveroo and Just Eat have firmly arrived on the scene and diners now have more choice and instant fulfilment for their every demand.
So, what hope for hotels through all of this? Are hotel marketers able to compete from a tactics and a budget perspective? Are hotel operators able to deliver competitive dining propositions to meet ever-evolving trends? Should hotels even try to compete anymore?
This event will take the form of a panel session featuring:
