Harri & Kickstart

What is Kickstart?

Kickstart is a government-backed scheme which provides businesses with 25 hours of fully funded labour, providing businesses the chance to rebuild post-COVID and giving young people the chance to get into work. Those who are eligible for the scheme are 16-24 year olds who are ‘at risk of long term unemployment’ - meaning that by giving them a Kickstart to their career in hospitality, we can not only help restart the hospitality industry but also help young people get into work.

Harri is working in partnership with Springboard to help get the hospitality industry back on its feet and fill labour gaps once we reopen. Working with Springboard as the gateway employer, we are providing new companies - big and small - with the Harri ATS to screen, interview and recruit their new Kickstart employees, providing a seamless recruiting process to start the Kickstart employee’s career.

We recently invited Springboard, The Youth Group and D&D London to discuss the Kickstart scheme and talk about why the scheme is good for the hospitality industry in 2021. The conversation touched on everything from how to apply, how Springbord can support you and what sort of roles your business could apply for.
