As Revenue Management becomes an increasingly established force in the hospitality industry alongside the rapid development in communications technology and social media, a panel of top experts at HOSPACE 2013 will be looking at how revenue managers can collate all their information streams into a cohesive picture. They will also examine how smaller hospitality companies can sometimes adapt and move quicker in this respect, without the issue of older legacy systems to slow them down.
Next week, under the expert chairmanship of Lawrence Hunt – Chief Operating Officer, Lowcosttravelgroup, which provides consumers and travel agents with ‘value for money’ travel choices – a leading panel of hospitality revenue management practitioners and experts will debate: ‘Integrating all the feeds for Revenue Management’. The panellists will be: Brian Hicks, Vice President Revenue Management, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG); Howard Langer, Global Capability Managing Director - Pricing and Promotions, dunnhumby, one of the world’s leading customer science companies; former EAME Director of IDeaS Ulrich Pillau - Managing Director, hetras GmbH, provider of an open cloud based multi-property platform designed especially for ‘new generation’ hoteliers; and Monique Jaspers-Wijn, Global Head of Partner Marketing, Travelport – a leading distribution services and ecommerce provider for the global travel industry.
