Zonal books key appointment for liveRES

Zonal, the UK’s leading technology provider for the hospitality industry, has appointed Stephen Motion to a newly created position, Enterprise Sales Manager, for its online booking and table management solution, liveRES.

Stephen is a business to business technology expert with a strong track record in the hospitality sector with over 20 years’ industry experience.  During the past seven years, Stephen has helped shape the way multi-site businesses have adopted reservation, marketing and mobile payment services across the United States, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

His new role will call on his knowledge of working with internationally recognised brands such as TGI Fridays, Pret a Manger and Marriott and his understanding of the technology required to support multi-site operators.

Zonal’s sales director for its Marketing Technologies division, David Charlton, said: “Since joining the Zonal family, liveRES has been growing at a fast pace over the last three years.  We are delighted to have someone of Stephen’s calibre on board, who joins us with an extensive list of contacts and in-depth technology experience, to help drive the business through its next phase of growth.”

Part of Zonal’s Marketing Technologies Division, liveRES has a dedicated team of 24 people based in Stafford.

Stephen added: “I am delighted to be joining Zonal at such an exciting time.  Its solutions really stand out from the crowd and having been abroad for the last few years, I can’t wait to take to the road and meet up with old friends and contacts within the UK’s hospitality sector.”

liveRES is used by some of the biggest hospitality brands in the UK such as Greene King, Mitchells & Butler and PizzaExpress, delivering online booking, integrated table management and customer engagement tools.  Being part of the Zonal family, liveRES fully integrates with Zonal’s EPoS, Loyalty and Marketing Automation solutions among others, unlocking access to spend data and in-session table management.
